A really good laugh

The Because I Said So blog always makes me laugh, but this particular posting with recipes for sandwiches from a 1930's cookbook is particularly funny. (Ooolia, take note for your next menu!)

Some of the sandwiches would actually taste okay (e.g. sardine and maybe the prune). One of my favorite weird but good sandwiches is PB, bacon, and thinly sliced apples on raisin toast (yes, the bacon is very important).

The post previous to that about toddlers got me. We have a lot of that at our house now.

Actually, that sounds good. I'll have to try it sometime that I have bacon. Or I can let you make it for me the next time I visit! ;-)
